Year 8 Leavers Book – Quick Guide for Parents

To complete your child’s Year 8 Leavers Book entry, please follow all three steps below. We want to ensure every child is included, so it goes without saying, if you do not complete the information below before the final submission date, they will not be included in the yearbook.

Step 1: Join the Yearbook & Upload Photos

For your child to be included, parents must join the yearbook and upload photos directly to their child’s page.

You’ll need to:

  • Register here using the invitation code: cavern3582

  • Enter your child’s name.

  • Let your child answer the questions that will appear on their profile page. The more questions answered the more text on their page.

  • Upload the following 3 photos in this order:

    • First Photo: First day at Hazlegrove

    • Second Photo: Doing something they enjoy

    • Third Photo: A photo of your choice

Step 2: Complete the Leavers Yearbook form

As the Yearbook website only allows you to access your own child’s page, we still need some further information to help us complete the other pages in the yearbook.

Please complete this form for each Year 8 child.

It should take around 15–30 minutes.

Deadline: 1st May

Helpful Tips:

  • Phone photos are absolutely fine.

    Please upload one photo per section (except for Other Photos, which is a max of 5) and avoid screenshots if possible.

  • You’ll be asked for your child’s date of birth. This information is optional, but if provided, it will be used for the Birthdays page in the leavers’ book. If you’d prefer your child not to appear on this page, simply leave this field blank.

    You’ll also have the option to share your child’s future school. This is also not required, but helps us include a Future Schools page in the leavers’ book, celebrating where everyone is heading next.

  • There is an optional field for your child’s email address.

    If provided, it will be included on the Contacts page, allowing pupils to stay in touch with their peers after they leave. If you do not wish to include this, please leave the field blank.

The cost of the leavers’ book is £22
