Each year, Year 8 parents come together to organise a group leavers’ gift for the school.

Following discussions with the school, they have suggested items that will benefit not only this year group, but future pupils as well. The current plan is to provide:

• An outdoor table tennis table (with bats and balls)

• A personalised bench for the area near the library (previously the putting green)

If funds allow, we would also love to include:

• A small thank you (flowers) for Katie Cobb

• A contribution towards refreshments for the staff leavers’ gathering

With approximately 64 pupils in the year, a contribution of around £40–£45 per family would allow us to achieve this.

Of course, this is entirely optional, and families are very welcome to organise individual gifts for teachers or tutors separately. This is simply a collective year group contribution.
